Stephen William Tisserat 25

He was born October 20, 1985 in Fontana, CA to Brent and Vickie (Pelton) Tisserat. Surviving are his father Brent Tisserat of Washington, IL; his mother Vickie (Steve) Paluska of Metamora, Il Brothers: Tim Tisserat of Chicago, and Chris (Mylene) Tisserat of Corona, CA and his sister Stephanie Tisserat of Washington, IL. He is also survived by his grandfather John (Carole) Pelton of Pomona, CA and his grandmother Anita Pelton of Washington, IL along with many aunts, uncles, step-sisters and step-brothers. Stephen was a 2004 graduate of Metamora Township High School where he played football and wrestled. Attended Chico State University in Chico, CA. He was a 5 year veteran of the Navy and the Army, first serving aboard the USS Boxer in the Persian Gulf twice, than transferring to the Army and serving in Afghanistan from 2009-2010. Stephen enjoyed snowboarding, camping, reading, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends. He was of the Lutheran Faith. A Memorial visitation for friends and family will be Thursday April 14, 2011 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
