Stanley G. Wenger, 70, of Washington passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on November 4, 1947 in Washington, IL the son of Wesley P. and Eleanor A. Cherry Wenger.

Surviving are two children Kimberly Muzzarelli and Bryan Wenger both of Washington.  Also surviving are his mother, Eleanor Wenger of Ventura, CA; three grandsons Guy Muzzarelli II, Seth Muzzarelli and Zachary Wenger.  Further surviving are one sister Ellen Wenger and one brother Phillip both of Ventura, CA along with his four footed companion Pedro. His father and one sister Margaret Anthony preceded him in death.

He was a brick mason since 1965.  As an avid reader he could be found many days at the Washington Library, he enjoyed studying the Bible, playing his keyboard and spending time with Pedro.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Mason-White Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 9:30AM until his time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to the Washington Library or given to the family for expenses.  To share a memory visit www.masonfuneralhomes.com
