Stanley J. Bocian, 83, of Eureka, IL, formerly of Washington, IL, passed away at 1:15 am on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.

He was born on December 17, 1940, in Peoria, IL, to Joseph and Mildred (Coaster) Bocian. He married Brenda J. Toler on September 1, 1963 in Peoria, IL. She passed away on January 8, 2023.

Surviving are his daughter, Angie (Fred Wallace) Bocian of Collbran, CO; grandsons, J.D. (Jessica Revallo) Bocian and Zachary Weis; and great-grandsons, Blaine Bocian and Kai Bocian. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stanley had been a factory worker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Metamora. He was a passionate bow-hunter throughout his life. Stanley and Brenda forged lasting friendships during their numerous hunting expeditions.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora with Father David Kipfer officiating.
