Shonna Maev' Mccullough

Shonna Maev' McCullough, 24, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at her home near Roanoke, Illinois, with her family around her.

Born January 22, 2001, she became the foster child of Dan and Michele McCullough. They adopted her in November of 2006.

She was a sister to Benni Sack of Tacoma, WA, Bo Ryan McCullough and Deirdre Hayes, both of East Peoria, IL, Erik Jochums of Corona, CA, Stephanie Fannin of Charleston, IL, Matthew Jochums of Auburn, IL, and Jon McCullough of Roanoke. She had many nieces and nephews.

She attended Roanoke Grade School then Metamora High School. She always had a smile for everyone. She loved to listen to her music and watch Veggie Tales on her tablet. Her joy in life was contagious.  Maybe that is why she lived long past her doctors expectations. She will be missed by her family and friends.
