Shirley Murphy

Shirley M. Murphy, 86, of Peoria, IL passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on March 12, 1936 in Peoria the daughter of Leo J. and Sarah B. Newberry Frakes. She married Bill Murphy Sr. on August 28, 1954 in Peoria, he passed away on January 21, 1984. She later married Lynn Syrdale and he passed away on March 24, 2020

Surviving are her daughter Nancy (Al) Hauser of Loveland, CO, one son Bill (Sandi) Murphy Jr. of Washington IL. Also surviving are three grandchildren Kelly (Todd) Blanks, Erin (Nick) Roe, and Sean (Lauren) Hauser along with 9 great grandchildren all of Loveland, CO. Shirley was preceded in death by all 11 of her brothers and sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2023, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
