Shirley Hulting

Shirley J. Hulting, 85, formerly of Washington, IL, passed away peacefully at 9:10 pm, Friday, December 16, 2022, in Normal, IL.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Crossroads United Methodist Church, Washington, the Pastor Bruce Rushing officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:45 am prior to the service. The burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.

Shirley was born on March 23, 1937, in Peoria, IL, a daughter to Howard M. Brown and Martha G. (Lauerman) Brown. She married Raymond D. Hulting on July 15, 1956, in Washington. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2007.

Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda (Robert) Pellouchoud of Normal, and Becky (Larry) Haas of Secor, a sister, Judy (Ron) Heiken of El Paso, three nephews, and several great-nephews.

Shirley was a devoted homemaker and Crossroads United Methodist Church member. She enjoyed antiquing, reading, playing bingo, and taking drives in the country. She was a breast cancer survivor since 2005.
