Shelby J. Fenney, 80, of Washington passed away at 9:25am Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Washington Christian Village.

She was born on June 13, 1938 in Metropolis, IL the daughter of Thomas P. and Jewel Rushing Reed.  She married James Feeney Sr. on January 26, 1954 in Pekin.  He passed away on May 5, 2005.  Also preceding her in death were one sister Lorene Davis.

Surviving are her one son James (Judy) Feeney Jr. of Washington, two daughters Darla Feeney of Metamora and Christina Reliford of Washington.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Shelby had worked as a nurse's aide at Washington Nursing Home. She later worked in housekeeping at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka. She was a member of Riverside Congregation of Jevohah's Witnesses in East Peoria.
