Shawn Allen Doerr

Shawn Allen Doerr, 52, of Metamora, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on October 30, 1973, to Robert C. and Donna K. (Borton) Doerr III. He made his home with his significant other, April Robinson.

Surviving are his significant other, April of Metamora; children, Ethan Robinson, Eva Robinson, Bryson Doerr, and Gage Doerr all at home; siblings, David (Tess) Doerr of The Phillipines, Sue Hayes of Idaho, Robert C. Doerr IV of Peoria, IL, and Lisa (Randy) Morger of Pekin, IL; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Travis Doerr, and aunt and uncle Judy and Ron Keith.

Shawn worked in the warehouse in the shipping department at Liberty Steel in Peoria. He was committed to his family and loved them deeply. Shawn enjoyed supporting his kids by either being a softball coach or doing chain on the football field. He looked forward to his yearly Ozarks trip and all the memories we would make as a family.
