Shannon L Hastings

Shannon L. Hastings 27, of Peoria passed away unexpectedly at 2:26 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Bloomington, IL. She was born on August 16, 1989 in Jacksonville, NC to Cheryl Hertz Hastings and Donald Hastings, both survive in Washington, IL. She leaves behind three beautiful children Benjamin, Madison and Eric, her sister Michelle Hastings of Washington, IL and two nephews Keithen and Elijah whom she loved dearly. Also surviving are her paternal grandparents John and Jean Hastings of Peoria Heights, IL., 4 aunts, 4 uncles and 9 cousins. She was proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents Donald and Frances Hertz and her uncle Bret Hertz. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial contributions to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
