Scott A. McDowell, 49, of East Peoria passed away at 1:20am Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1967 in Peoria the son of James and Pebbyl Henderson McDowell. Surviving is his mother, one sister Michelle Waldschmidt both of Washington. Also surviving are 3 aunts, 3 uncles along with 8 cousins. Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside services will be held 11am Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to the American Cancer Society.
