Sandra Jo Bartlow (LaKemper), 74, of Metamora, IL, passed away under the care and compassion of her daughters and wonderful Oncology floor staff at 6:23 am on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Carle Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.

She was born on August 16, 1950, in Peoria, IL, to Gustave and Norma (Sidwell) LaKemper.

Surviving are her two daughters, Ashley (Austin) Ford of Metamora, IL and Justine (Stuart) Bond of Jefferson, GA; son, Les (Lara Maddox) Walker of Savannah, MO; granddaughter, Ava Bond of Jefferson, GA; brother, Gary (Mary) LaKemper of Clermont, FL; sister, Nancy Hinz of McDonough, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her memory will forever live on through her passion and love for gardening, her beloved dogs, Atlas and Tilly, and the people she loved most.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Washington VFW Post 9016 in Washington, IL.
