Ruth G. Thibo

Ruth G. Thibo, 88, of Washington, IL passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at her residence.

She was born May 12, 1929, in Forward, MI, the daughter of Gerrit and Mabel Herwyer. She married Kenneth R. Thibo on September 30, 1950, in Saginaw, MI.

Surviving are her husband, five children Keith D. (Christine) Thibo of Washington, Gary D. (Lea) Thibo of Millington, MI, Timothy K. Thibo of Lansing MI, David C. (Barb) Thibo of Fenton, MI and Connie L. (Derek) Huff of Washington, IL. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 2 foster grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 6 foster great grandchildren. Further surviving is one sister Joyce Erler of Midland, MI. Two brother's Ray and Russ Herwyer and one sister Rose Boese preceded her in death.

Ruth was a member of Bay View Baptist Church Washington. She was a member along with her husband of SOWERS RV Ministry and was the head of Missionary Ladies Guild for many years. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her kindness, loving heart and thoughtful manner.

Services will be 11:00am Friday, April 20, 2018, with visitation from 9:00am until her time of service all at Bay View Baptist Church. Pastor Keith D. Thibo, her son, will officiate.
