Ruth E. Pisel

Ruth E. Pisel, 100, of Washington passed away at 10:10am, Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Washington Christian Village. She was born on August 11, 1916 in Toluca, IL daughter of John and Mabel Reese Tesch. She married John E. Pisel on December 18, 1937 in Roanoke, IL and he passed away on August 9, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her sons Stanley and Dale and one granddaughter Marilyn Hill. Surviving are her grandchildren Barb Anderson, Tabitha (Randy) Bohannon, John Pisel. Also surviving are great grandchildren Amanda, Justin (Katie) Pisel, Kara, Lee, Andrew and Brooke; her great great grandchildren Nevaeh, Jaslynn, Kade, Corey and Raelyn. She was a homemaker, cleaned houses, and worked as a seamstress out of her home. Services will be 11am Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Rev. Dwight Mead will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to her services. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, in Morton.
