Rose Mary (Foster) Deininger

January 12, 1925 — February 22, 2022

Rose Mary Deininger, 97, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 1:00 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Snyder Village in Metamora.

She was born on January 12, 1925, in Hennepin, IL, to Edward and Gladys (Turpin) Foster. She married Amos F. Deininger, on March 4, 1944 and were married for 46 years prior to his death on May 13, 1990.

Surviving are her three children, Kristal (Gary) Bachman of Metamora, Edward (Judith) Deininger of Washington, and Rich (Gayle Sturgis) Deininger of Washington; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Velma Austin of Varna, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Diana Crumley.

Rose was a lifelong homemaker and worked for Community Care Systems in the 1990's.  Rose loved camping with her family at the family farm known as R and V Farms in Hennepin, IL. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and loved her family.  Rose especially enjoyed her Casino adventures with her dear sister Velma, niece Rhonda, and daughter-in- law Judy. Rose was beautiful, patient, and most of all a kind-hearted woman and her family will miss her deeply.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery in Hennepin, IL with Pastor Gary Salm officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Vitas Hospice, 5019 North Executive Drive, Peoria, IL 61614. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
