Rose was born on December 28, 1954 in Peoria to Albert and Lucille Bishop Harper. Among those surviving are her mother of Washington; one daughter, Angela Blackford of East Peoria; two sons, Doug (Ashley) Blackford of Washington and Greg (Amy) Blackford of Bartonville; six grandchildren, Dakota Beard and Blake, Taylor, Brody, Carter and Evan Blackford; four sisters, Claudette Foster and Linda (Dale) Berry, both of Canton, Phyllis Parker of Peoria and Sandy (Dave) Beck of Hanna City; two brothers, Mike (Patty) Harper of Mapleton and Mark Harper of Bartonville and a multitude of loving friends. Rose had worked at O'Dea's Cleaners in Washington for the past several years and also did cleaning for various business's in the Tri-County Area. She also had previously worked as a bartender at Norbit's and Kyle's in Sunnyland. Rose was a graduate of Limestone High School She was an avid Bobby Labonte fan, as well as following the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals. GO PACKERS!!! A Celebration of Life for Rose will be held at a later date. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family in arrangements.
