Rory Casey, 30, of Anchorge Alaska, passed away June 4, 2017 in Anchorage.

Rory was born July 30, 1986 in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his parents, Lt Col (ret) Kevin and Pat Casey, also from Anchorage, and his brother and his wife, Robert and Larissa Casey and their two daughters, from Kodiak, Alaska. Rory is the grandson of long time Washington resident Pauline Casey, and he has a large extended family in the Illinois area.

Rory was a national level alpine ski racer for many years, and loved the downhill races the best. He was a graduate from the first class of South High School in Anchorage, and is accredited with making the first receiving and passing touchdowns for their football team. In recent years, Rory has been employed in the commercial fishing industry in Alaska, working toward a move to Illinois and working in the farmland country of the US.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2017 at St Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, followed by internment at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
