Ronald W. Millard, 80, of Washington passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, at his residence.

He was born on October 9, 1937 in Peoria, son of the late Donald and Ruby Casper Millard. He married Norma Massey on May 9, 1986 in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife, children Rick Millard of Deer Creek, IL; Angie (Troy) Frank of Washington, IL; Rick (Deanne) Dingledine of Congerville, IL; Ed (Sara) Dingledine of Maquon, IL; Vikki (Bryan) Poorman of Washington, IL and Will (Brandy) Meyers of Washington, IL. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

A systems Analyst for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 30 years, he retired in 1986. Ron was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and was instrumental in bringing the three-day spiritual renewal organization Via de Cristo to Illinois. He loved photography and was an un-published author.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at Faith Lutheran Church. Pastor John Rothfusz will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will follow his service at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to OSF Hospice, Illinois Cancer Care, Faith Lutheran Church or a charity of the Donor's choice.
