Ronald R. Booth, Sr., 70, of Washburn, IL passed away at 8:26 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on September 19, 1947 in Peoria, IL to Rayburn H. and Winifred V. (Bristol) Booth. He married Linda S. Pritchard on August 1, 1970 in Peoria, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are children Ronald R. (Josie) Booth, Jr. of Henry, IL, Tony (Linda) Booth of Toluca, IL, Brian (Jamie) Booth of Metamora, and Molly Booth of Washburn; nine grandchildren; sister Joyce Booth of Pekin, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Ron was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He worked as an assembler for Mitsubishi for 18 years. Ron loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed his John Deere tractor and was an avid comic book and card collector. Ron was a member of the UAW Local 974.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the ARK Humane Society, 477 State Route 26, Lacon, IL 61540. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
