Rodney Huss

Rodney "Redbeard" Huss, 63, of Chillicothe passed away at 11:57am, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born on August 8, 1952 in Pekin the son of Kenneth W and Gracie I. Ditto Huss. He married Teri L. Hopkins on June 10, 1978.

Surviving is his wife of Chillicothe, two sons Daniel (Jennifer) Huss of Princeville and Timothy J. Huss of West Lake Village, CA. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, two sisters Pamela (Michael) Donnelley of Chillicothe, and Kimberly (Michael) Ryan of Peoria Heights, IL. one brother Dr. Greg (Sandra) Huss of Chicago along with a host of nieces and nephews. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

He worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as an engineer retiring in September 2012.

Funeral Service are scheduled for 11am, Wednesday January 27, 2016 at Mason-White Funeral Home 20 Valley Forge Rd in Washington. The Rev. Wayne Wickware will officiate. Visitation will be one-hour prior to his service. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
