Rodney "Rod" Fore

Rodney "Rod" G. Fore, 65, of Washington, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on July 29, 1957, in Peoria, the son of Arthur and Barbara Krigbaum Fore.

Surviving are his mother, one brother Troy (Paula) Fore; two sisters, Charlotte (Richard) Bierly and Pat Williams, all of Washington. Also, surviving are one nephew Josh Cupples of Washington, and one niece Jennifer Fore of Pekin; one great nephew Jaxson Fore of Pekin; three uncles, Bill Fore, Bennie Fore, and Bob Krigbaum; two aunts, Jan James and Carol Raines. His father, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents all preceded him in death.

In the summer of 1981, Rod became paralyzed from the waist down due to a motorcycle accident. Until that time he worked for Callahan's and Alwan's Brothers Meats in Peoria. Rod loved hunting, fishing, and going on long rides and was his brother's crew chief for racing. He loved hanging out with his mother and watching television and has been her rock ever since his father passed away. Rod had many friends and always had an open-door policy regarding someone needing a place to stay. He was a loving brother and son who will be deeply missed.
