Rocky Collins

Rocky Collins, 69, of East Peoria, IL, passed away at 7:14 pm on Friday, June 12, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on June 6, 1957, in South Bend, IN, to Gussie and Dorothy (Rollins) Collins, Sr.

Surviving are his mother, Dorothy of East Peoria; children, Rocky (Tifani) Collins, Jr. of Germantown Hills, IL, Tommy (Angie) Collins of Wildwood, FL, Christina (Dusty) Whiteford of Rising Sun, IN, and Melissa Collins of Aurora, IN; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Gussie B. Collins, Todd Collins, and Rita Harmon all of East Peoria, Elizabeth (Sam) Wall of Pekin, IL, and Bill Collins and Danny Collins both of East Peoria. He was preceded in death by his father, Gussie and brother Benjamin Collins.

Rocky had worked as a general contractor in asphalt paving.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Pastor Darin Fowler officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Burial will be in Lacon City Cemetery in Lacon, IL.
