Robert F. Reed

Robert F. Reed, 69, of East Peoria, passed away on September 2, 2018 at 12:45AM in Proctor Hospital.

Bob was born in Peoria, IL on March 11, 1949 to Frank and Ruby(Wood) Reed. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and his youngest brother David. Surviving are his sister Karen (Scott) James of East Peoria, brother Don (Debbie) Reed of Germantown Hills,  along with several nieces and nephews. Bob worked at the Journal Star for over 30 years and was also a professional photographer.

Bob was an avid Cubs fan and was thrilled when his beloved team won the World Series in 2016. He was also an Illini fan and held season tickets for the football team for a time. He loved his beagle, Holly, and I'm sure she will miss having him in her life.
