Robert O Landwehr

Robert O. Landwehr, 80, of Washington passed away at 6:55pm Saturday March 9th, 2013 at Washington Christian Village. He was born on Saturday, May 7th 1932, in Peoria the son of Elmer and Thelma Spitler Landwehr. He married Elizabeth C. Burch in Peoria on Saturday, April 11, 1953. Surviving Robert is his wife of Washington and their four daughters; Rhonda (Frank) Johnson, Leslie (Charlie) Isonhart both of Peoria; Beth (Eric) Sievers and Jennifer Landwehr both of Washington. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He was preceded by older his brother Harold. He proudly served his country serving in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict before being honorably discharged. Robert was an employee of Fleming & Potter Packaging Company for 30 years before retiring in 1992. The family would like to thank the staff of Washington Christian Village for their warm and compassionate care during his short illness. Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are scheduled. Memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor?s choice.
