Robert C. Doerr III

Robert C. Doerr, III, 79, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away at 1:15 pm on Friday, August 28, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on May 15, 1947, in Peoria, IL, to Robert C. and Eleanor M. (Hodgkins) Doerr Sr. He married Donna K. Borton on May 19, 1972, in Peoria, IL. She passed away in 2020.

Surviving are his five children, David (Ericka) Doerr of The Phillipines, Sue Doerr Hayes of Idaho, Robert C. Doerr IV of Peoria, IL, Lisa (Randy) Morger of Pekin, IL, and Shawn (April Robinson) Doerr of Germantown Hills, IL; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Gary (Linda) Doerr, Craig Doerr, and Scott (Nicole) Doerr all of Germantown Hills, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Travis Doerr, sister Judy Keith, brother-in-law Ron Keith, and nephew Bob Joliff.

Robert had worked as a foreman at Melton Electric.
