Mason Funeral Home, Metamora Chapel - Robert E. Brown age 90 of Snyder Village in Metamora passed away at 3:40am Thursday Feb.18, 2010 at Snyder Village in Metamora. He was born May 26, 1919 in Montezuma, Indiana to Clyde and Mary Beatrice (Atkisson) Brown. He married Geneva Mae Seybold on Dec. 9, 1941 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She passed away Dec. 6, 2008. Surviving is one grandson Jared (Erin Feeney) Savre of Chicago Illinois. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter Kay Conrad, a brother Charles, and a sister Harriet Flannery. He was a World War II Army Air Force Veteran with the rank of master Sergeant serving from 1942-1946. Bob worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company in Indiana and Illinois for forty years retiring in 1981 as Adminstration Coordinator. Services will be at 7:00pm Friday Feb. 19, 2010 at the Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Rev. Roger Ruhman officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until service time at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 10:00am Saturday Feb. 20, 2010 at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Activities Dept. at Snyder Village 1200 E.
