Rikki D. Wileman, 63, of Washington, IL passed away at 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2021. He was born on April 22, 1958 in Centerville, IA to Lawrence A. and Naomi K. (Payne) Wileman.
Surviving are his four children, Brandon (Becky) Wileman of Rocky Point, NC, Kerik (Wendy Moodie) Wileman of Bradford, IL, Kassidy Facker of Germantown Hills, IL, and Kori Wileman (Christina Duquette) of Agawam, MA; five grandchildren, Lane Moodie, Haylie Moodie, Cooper Facker, Aubrey Facker, and Maverick Wileman; two siblings, Mike (Tonya) Wileman of Washington, IL and Teri Nester of North Port, FL; and four nieces and nephews, Sierra Nester, Megan Wileman, Brodie Wileman, and Brock Wileman. He was formerly married to Brenda Kammerer and Tina Wileman. He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Rob Facker.
He graduated from Washington Community High School in 1976 and joined the United States Marine Corps. He served his country with devotion and pride for 20 years, earning the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. While serving he earned many distinctions and decorations including the Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, Pistol Sharpshooter Badge, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 3 stars, Meritorious Unit Commendation with 3 stars, Good Conduct Medal with 5 stars, Letters of Appreciation with 8 awards, Meritorious Mast, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Corps overseas Ribbons with 3 stars, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Letter of Commendation, Nato Medal, and Armed Forces Service Medal. Upon retirement from the Marine Corps he served his country for several more years as a lead screener for Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration.
He spent his final retirement years watching and supporting his grandchildren in all of their activities and spending time with his children.
