Surviving are one sister Sharon (Larry) Purcell of E. Peoria, one brother John (Lori Windows) Engstrom of Princeton, and his aunt Lois Simon of Princeton. Nieces and nephews; Tara (Mick) Veloso, Jana Purcell, Renda (Bob) Mineham, and Steve and Mike Engstrom. Rickey was a welder and enjoyed everything about nature. He was a avid bird watcher and enjoyed flowers, fishing, wood carving, and music. He was a patriot and loved his country, and was of the christian faith. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be at 1:00pm Sat. Aug. 14, 2010 at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time at the Funeral Home.
