Rickey Earl Keller

Rickey Earl Keller, 62, of Germantown Hills, IL passed away at 12:52 pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on December 8, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Elmer Louis and Ida Lee (Braman) Keller. He married Barbara J. Boyd on May 14, 2016 in East Peoria, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are sons Joseph (Amanda) Keller of Gurnee, IL and Curtis (Teri) Keller of BayView Gardens, IL; step-son Jeffery (Tisa) Boyd of Peoria Heights; step-daughters Lynette (Troy) Boyd of Peoria and Kimberly (Jeff) Boyd of BayView Gardens; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; brothers Roger Braman of Eureka and Jerry (Janet) Keller of East Peoria; and sister Tammie (Mike Lamb) Forcum of East Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Lee Keller.

Rickey worked as a welder at Komatsu from 1974 until his retirement in 2014. He attended Rock Church in East Peoria. He loved his 1969 Camaro, was a John Wayne fan, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Reverend Chuck Tate officiating.
