Richard "Dick" Matthew Rebholz, Jr.

Richard Matthew "Dick" Rebholz, Jr., 89, of Lowpoint, IL passed away at 6:32 am on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Lacon Rehab and Nursing in Lacon, IL. He was born on April 8, 1931 in East Peoria, IL to Richard Matthew and Alice Francis (Gale) Rebholz, Sr. He married Dorothy K. "Dottie" Hardt on October 3, 1959 in Varna, IL. She passed away on April 18, 2014.

Surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, especially his niece Susan Smith of Glasgow, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Letisha Weitzel, and brothers Donald Rebholz, Arthur Welch, George Welch, and Emmet Welch.

Dick was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a millright for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 32 years. He was a member of the Oak Grove Church of the Brethen in Lowpoint. He enjoyed traveling to Wisconsin and Michigan and rabbit and pheasant hunting.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial of Ashes will be in Buckingham Cemetery in Washburn, IL at a later date.
