Richard A. Jackson, 64, of Marquette Heights, IL passed away at 10:53pm, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

He was born on October 16, 1953 in Peoria the son of Charles and Virginia Cruise Jackson.  He married Jennifer L. Dean on 4/24/1990 in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife of Marquette Heights, one daughter Stephanie (Rob) Harris of Washington, one son Derek Jackson of Fort Collins, CO.  Also surviving are three grandchildren Kristopher, Kiersten, and Carter.  Also surviving are three brothers Robert (Joann) Jackson of Spring Bay, IL  Dean (Kathy) McCoy of Pekin, IL and William (Cheryl) Jackson of Mississippi along with one sister Rhonda Kim Jackson of Morton, IL.

He was an operating engineer working for Local #649 in Peoria. Richard enjoyed traveling with his wife, as well as spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 7, 2018 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington.  A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00PM also at the funeral home.  Pastor Daniel Bishop will officiate.  Memorials in his name may be given to OSF Richard L.
