WASHINGTON?Richard Lee Belsly, 67, of Washington, passed away at 1:03 a.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Morton Terrace in Morton. Richard was born on August 21, 1946 in Washington to Ralph and Vivian (Lathrum) Belsly. Among those surviving are three sons; Bob (Greta) Belsly of Washington, Mark (Kitty) Belsly of Mackinaw and Scott (Jessica) Belsly of East Peoria; two brothers, Paul (Kathy) Belsly and James (Shirley) Moody of Washington and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bob Moody and two sisters, Rovena Marugg and Shirley Keck. Richard had worked construction in the Washington/Peoria area for many years and was a member of the Cement Finishers Union and the Laborers Union. He always enjoyed the family outings to Kennel Lake Sportsman Club. Funeral services for Richard will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2014 with Pastor Dick Hanson officiating at Mason-White Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services and burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Memorials for Richard may be directed to Morton Terrace.
