Reba F. Legel

Reba F. Legel age 77 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 10:55pm Tuesday Nov. 22, 2011 at Hallmark Nursing Center in Pekin, Illinois. She was born March 6, 1934 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to George and Goldie (Hale) Tankersley. She married Philip Legel Jr. on March 23, 1984 in Pekin, IL and he survives. Surviving are her children; Randy (Julie) Barnard of Elmwood, IL, Karen Knight of Pekin, and Gina (Jeff) Clagg of Las Vegas, Nevada. Grandchildren; Sarah and Jenna Barnard, Megan, Justice, and Ashly Knight, and Crystal and Chris Wright. Two Great Grandchildren Myla and Dallas Simon. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and one brother. Reba was a member of Woodford County Home Extension and attended Metamora Mennonite Church. She loved spending time with family, friends and helping others. Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm Friday Nov. 25, 2011 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Stephen Ulrich officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30pm until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Linn Mennonite School.
