Raphael A. "Ray" Ruder

Proud father of seven children; Sr. Beth Marie Ruder, Daughter of Charity of East St. Louis, IL, Michael Ruder of Groveland, IL, Ivan Ruder of New Orleans, LA, Patrick (Deborah) Ruder of Groveland, IL, Brian (Missey) Ruder of Green Valley, IL, Matthew (Beth) Ruder of Pekin, IL, and 12 grandchildren. Ray is also survived by brothers; Roger (Janet) Ruder of Metamora, IL and Bill (Lynn) Ruder of Eureka, IL: sisters Barbara (Mike) Summer of Warner Robins, Georgia and Ellen (Jay) Mitchell of Springfield, MO. He was preceded in death by one son Raphael and one brother. Ray served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Okinawa from 1951-53. He worked in construction for 43 years working as a Superintendent for Becker Brothers Construction 1964-1983, ten years with Tony Engst, and 14 years with Schrepfer & Martin. Member of CarpenterA
