Ralph L. Halteman

Ralph L. Halteman, 84, of El Paso, IL went to be with the Lord at 10:43 pm on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria. He was born on May 29, 1933 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to Joseph S. and Katie A. (Landis) Halteman. He married Tillie Burkholder on May 25, 1959 at North Spirit Lake, Ontario, Canada. She passed away on April 28, 2005.

Surviving are his children Loye (Phyllis) Halteman of Red Lake, Ontario, Lyndon (Norma) Halteman of McDavid, FL, Otilia (Leon) Kennell of El Paso, Senia (Eric) Dalzell of Pickle Lake, Ontario, and LaRonda (Phil) Snader of Denver, PA; nineteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Floyd (Geraldine) Halteman of Lebanon, PA. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Keirsten Halteman, four brothers, and four sisters.

Ralph was a retired missionary and minister who loved his Lord and family well.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Linn-Mennonite Church in Roanoke with church ministers officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and also from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Linn-Mennonite School in Roanoke. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to his service on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Stewart Harmony Cemetery in Metamora.
