Rachel Hahn, 94, of Washington passed away at 5:50 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born on December 11, 1922 in Anderson, SC the daughter of Henry and Essie Clankscales Davis. She married Clifford N. Hahn on November 2, 1945 in Peoria. Cliff passed away on September 23, 2013 in Peoria. One son David Hahn and one sister also preceded her in death. Surviving are one daughter Linda (Kimbal) Weber of Washington and one grandson Joshua (Meredith) Weber of Metamora. Rachel worked for the Washington Grain elevator for many years before her retirement. She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church in Washington. Rachel enjoyed many things in her life including gardening, walking, dancing with her husband, spending time with her family especially her grandson. The family would like extend a special thank you to the staff of Villas of Hollybrook and Peg Stoller from Methodist Hospice. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Mason-White Funeral Home with Pastor Dr. Camilla Hempstead and Pastor Bob DeBolt officiating. Visitation will be one half hour prior to her service. Burial of her remains will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
