Perry Edward Akins

PEKIN?Perry E. Akins, 80, formerly of Pekin, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Cordova, Alabama on August 26, 1930 to Henry and Claudine Akins. Perry is survived by his wife, Betty Akins; sons, Chris E. Akins, Sr., Randy D. Akins, Stepdaughter, Patty (John) Boyers, Stepson, John (Debbie) Coker, grandchildren, Jenny (Chris) Owen, Chris E. (Lori) Akins, Jr., Andrea Akins, Katherine Akins, Nathan Akins, Brett Boyers, Chloe Coker, great grandchildren Conner D. E. Akins and Cooper B. Akins. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Akins (1989). Funeral services were held in San Antonio, Texas on August 8, 2011. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is handling local arrangements.
