Pat spent most of her life as a mom and wife, but in 1994, she returned to work and then finished her degree at Olivet Nazarene University in 1999, where she also worked as a financial aid counselor, a role she enjoyed until her retirement in 2009. Pat spent many years involved in the Christian Women's Club and was passionate about the Kankakee Valley Symphony and the KVSO Women's Board. She loved her friends and never wanted to miss a Friday night get-together with them. She loved books and music and enjoyed organizing and arranging just about anything she could: social, furniture, cabinets, and schedules. Most importantly, she was a fierce champion for her kids and grandkids.
