Patricia Giersch

Patricia Ann Giersch, 91, of Washington, IL, passed away at 2:20 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on December 23, 1928 in Rensselaer, Indiana, to John and Chloe (Wasson) Putts.  She married David Giersch on February 4, 1953 in Evanston, IL.  He passed away on June 4, 1994.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Lisa Guitterez, and three sisters.

Surviving are one daughter, Linda A. Gutierrez of Clearwater, FL; two sons, David Giersch, Jr. of Washington and John Giersch of Peoria; two granddaughters, Erin Matheson and Shannon Alexander along with three great-grandchildren.

Patricia had worked at Hitchcock Mechanical in Pekin, IL and also D-D Trucking in Washington.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private burial of her remains will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
