Patricia "Pat" Danks

Patricia E. "Pat" Danks, 82, of Washington, IL formerly of Janesville, WI, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria with family at her side.

She was born on November 20, 1935, in Janesville, daughter of the late Lionel and Wilma Dabson Baldwin. She married Ron Danks on November 20, 1957, in Dubuque, IA. He passed away on December 15, 2013. One brother James and two sisters Doris McGrath and Bonnie Baldwin also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son Jerry (Tara) Danks of Washington, IL and one daughter Darcy (Barry) Bartlett of Columbus, WI; four grandchildren Ethan and Calliane Danks, along with Hayden and Evan Bartlett. Also surviving are two sisters Barbara and Kathleen and one brother Lionel Jr.

She worked for F & W Oil Company for many years and later worked for JC Penny's for several years before retiring, both in Janesville. Pat was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Janesville. After moving to Washington in 2014, she became a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church. She enjoyed many things in life including reading, crocheting, her dog Joey, but especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, March, 2, 2018, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Mason-White Funeral Home, 20 Valley Forge Rd, Washington, IL. Funeral services will follow her visitation at 11:00 am; Rev. Dr. Camilla Hempstead will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
