Pamela J. (Platt) Jones

Pamela J. Jones, 66, of Metamora, IL passed away at 5:53 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was born on January 7, 1955 in Peoria, IL to Fred D. and Eileen V. (Harper) Platt. She married Franklin J. "Frank" Jones in Peoria, IL on January 7, 1972.

Surviving are her husband, Frank of Metamora; sons, Bo (Tonya) Jones and Jason (Jackie) Jones both of Metamora; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Ed (Sharon) Platt of Sunnyland, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Stacy Conaway, one sister, and one brother.

Pam was a seamstress for L.P.D. Uniforms, sewing uniforms for policemen. Pam was truly one of a kind. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother who was known for filling the room with laughter and love. Her family meant the world to her, as she did to them. When she wasn't spoiling her grandkids she enjoyed sewing, fishing, and cooking delicious meals. There was never a dull moment. She will be missed beyond measure.
