Pamela "Pam" L. (Grams) Haungs

August 4, 1939 — July 30, 2025

Washington

Pamela L. "Pam" Haungs, 85, of Washington, IL, entered heaven's gate peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 4, 1939, in Moline, IL to the late George W. and Lucille (Walker) Grams.  She married Rolland E. "Rollie" Haungs on November 4, 1988.  He passed away on December 22, 2016.

Surviving are her three children, Dawn Guerrero of Metamora, IL, Nikki (Mark) Harris of Carlinville, IL, and Gerry Guerrero of Tampa, FL; eight wonderful grandchildren, Don (Bobbie) Sweet, Deanna (Gerry) Horton, Courtney (Pete) Harris, Scott (Kimmy) Harris, Shane (Chaye) Harris, Geremy (Emily) Guerrero, Tyler Guerrero, and Gillian Guerrero; and nine great-grandchildren that adored her and one on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Grams, and sister Marilyn Johnson.

After moving to Metamora in 1975, she worked for CILCO as a dispatcher until her retirement in 1988.  The last several years she has been a volunteer in the gift shop at Proctor Hospital.  Pam was never one to sit idle.  She enjoyed bowling, walking, biking, playing cards with friends, and most of all traveling.  Her greatest joy though was spending time with family and being with her grandchildren.  She is the grandma that will be remembered for showing up for everything, no matter how far she had to travel.  Her love radiated in her every glance, every smile, every laugh, and every hug.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Crossroads Global Methodist Church in Washington, IL with Pastor Jason Woolever officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time, also on Friday at the church.  Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Crossroads Global Methodist Church, 1420 North Main Street, Washington, IL 61571 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
