Pamela Janis Bowers, 59, of East Peoria, IL passed away at 5:40 am on Monday, March 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born on June 26, 1957 in Peoria, IL to Edwin August Nuest. She married Ken Lynn Bowers on June 27, 1975 in Springfield, IL. He survives. Also surviving are her children Nathan Bowers of East Peoria and Michelle (Timothy) Roberts of Metamora; five grandchildren Miquela Bowers, Kayleigh Bowers, Scott Bowers, Katherine Bowers, and Navada Roberts; sister Linda Holeman; and nephew Brent Holeman. She was preceded in death by grandson Seth Bowers. Pamela retired from the Peoria Postal Office. She loved crocheting, puzzles, Words with Friends, playing on King.com, and her cat Sam and dog Daisy.
