Oval Marie (Anderson) Lemons

Oval Marie Lemons, 90, of Spring Bay, IL, passed away at 1:56 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL. She was born on February 19, 1931, in Gainesboro, TN, to Robert B. and Rose (Pharris) Anderson. She married Arthur R. Lemons on May 12, 1956 in Delavan, IL. He passed away on July 19, 1995.

Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Lemons of Spring Bay; three grandchildren; and sister, Polly Purnell of Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Randy Lemons, one brother, and five sisters.

Oval was a member of RiversEdge United Methodist Church in Spring Bay. She was a custodian for her church. Oval enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader, enjoying the Upper Room and the Anderson family history book.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Reverend Binu Peniel officiating.
