WASHINGTON…Norma F. Master, 79, of Washington, passed away at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria at 5:51 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015.
Norma was born on December 27, 1935 in Winamac, Indiana to Walter and Cora (Warmbrod) Peters. She married Ralph E. Master on October 28, 1956 in Lake Bruce, Indiana. Ralph survives. Also surviving are their five children, Harold (Cyndy Frietsch) Master of Pekin, Brenda (Bill Bayler) Wileman of Washington, Ronald (Bonnie) Master of Pekin, Becky Lauss of Washington and Roger Master of St. Joseph; one brother, Willard (Helen) Peters of Winamac, Indiana; two sisters, Ellen (Gene) Horn of Kewanee, Indiana and Lulu Belle Walker of Kokomo, Indiana and twelve grandchildren, Casey, Courtney, Kirby, Alecia, Ryan, Rachael, Ashley, Britani, Nick, Tori, Austin and Kyler. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille and Olive. Norma and Ralph enjoyed bowling in a Senior Bowling League twice a week. She loved to read, cooking, work in the yard both at home and at the family cabin in Minnesota and especially caring for her geraniums. Norma also has helped in the voting places for elections for many years. What Norma enjoyed most was the love for her family and spending time with them, and especially the grandchildren. She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church in Washington. Funeral services for Norma will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Mason-White Funeral Home with burial following in Glendale Cemetery. Visitation for Norma will be on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either American Heart Association or Evangelical United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at masonfuneralhomes.com SERVICES
