PEKIN?Norma Jean Lutke, 77, of Pekin, passed away at 6:40 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on March 9, 1935 in Wabash, Indiana to Kenneth and Iva (Brown) Cain. Norma married Robert Lutke on October 15, 1955 in Pekin. He preceded her in death. Among those surviving is one daughter, Iva (William) Marxen of Sioux Falls, SD; two sons, Bob Lutke of Pekin and Allan Lutke of West Palm Beach, FL; one grandson, Billy Marxen; one brother, Kenneth Cain of Lake Wales, FL and one sister, Darlene Rains of Washington. Norma loved art, baking cakes and and was an avid pianist. She had attended Washington Community High School and and was a graduate of Palm Beach High. She was a graduate of beauty school and for many years Norma operated a beauty shop and also did some interior design work. Funeral services for Norma will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Dick Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be directed to the Peoria Gospel Mission or St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
