Naomi Jean Anderson, 79, of Metamora, IL, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Snyder Village in Metamora. She was born on March 25, 1943, in Holdrege, NE, to Rudolph H. and Erma J. (Hauge) Anderson.

Naomi will be remembered for her big personality and hearty laugh. Friends and family were very dear to her and she had a knack for remembering family history. Church was always an important part of her life where she made many close friends. She was an avid traveler and visited relatives in Sweden and Norway multiple times. She also loved to sew and quilt. The majority of her career was with the Federal Milk Market Administration, first in St. Louis, Missouri and then in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She will be missed by her nephew, Michael (wife Stacey) Anderson, nieces, Glenna (partner Brian Gilomen) and Shari Stephens, and grand-nieces, Kari White and Katie Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Harold Anderson, sister Beverly Kesting, and nephew David Kesting.
