Nancy J. (Gilliatt) Grebner

Nancy J. Grebner, 86, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 11:45 am on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

She was born on September 25, 1938, in Metamora, IL, to Lester and Mildred (Schupp) Gilliatt. She married Russell J. "Bing" Grebner on September 5, 1959 in Metamora, IL.

Surviving are her husband, Russell of Metamora; son, Jeff (Kathy McGee) Grebner of Bloomington, MN; daughter, Leslie (Matthew) Ernst of Wylie, TX; grandchildren, Brett (Paige) Ernst and Ashley (Jordan) Prud'homme; great-grandchildren, Sloane and Maeve Ernst and Blakely and Jace Prud'homme; and sister, Diane Gude of Washington, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sylvia Kalley.

Nancy was a secretary for Caterpillar Tractor Company and later a typesetter for the Metamora Herald.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora with Father David Kipfer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
