Nancy S. Brown Riecker

Nancy S. (Brown) Riecker age 66 of Metamora, Illinois formerly of E. Peoria passed away at 8:45pm Monday Sept. 12, 2011 at Washington Christian Village. She was born May 22, 1945 in Peoria, IL to Henry A. and Elizabeth M. (Laridaen) Riecker. She married James W. Brown on Dec. 18, 1964. Surviving are three daughters, Julie (Todd) Beagle of Marquette Heights, Tina Winkler of Southaven MS, and Karen Gallup of Metamora. Grandchildren; Alex Beagle, Noah Gallup and Aidan Beagle. Nancy is also survived by three sisters Frances (Gene) Reatherford of Peoria, Mary (Dave) Coker of Sunnyland, Janice (Jim) Reeves of Roanoke, and two brothers Robert Riecker of Peoria, and John Riecker of Creve Coeur. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Patricia Koehler. Nancy worked in Data Processing at Caterpillar, and was a Bus Monitor for Riverview Community Consolidated School District 2. She enjoyed painting, traveling, going to the beach and spending time with the grandchildren. Nancy was baptized of the Catholic Faith. Services will be at 7:00pm Thursday Sept. 15, 2011 at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Rev. Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until service time at the funeral home. Cremation Rites will be accorded after services with burial of ashes at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.
