Myrtle M. Mezo

Myrtle M. Mezo age 83 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 9:05am Saturday June 16, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 21, 1929 in Chariton, Iowa to Fred and Maude (Holder) Borger. She married Samuel A. Mezo on May 28, 1956 in Kankakee, IL., he passed away on August 10, 1979. Surviving are two children, Samuel R. (Marcie) Mezo of Clinton, Arkansas and Jennifer (Steven) Adams of Metamora. Grandchildren; Arrom (Rose) Mezo, Amber (Jimmy) Rosenthrol, Julian Mezo, Charity (Brody) Mezo and Michael and Brandon Bryan. She is also survived by one brother Rev. Fred (Claudette) Borger Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by one daughter, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and one niece. Myrtle was a professional Cook and attended Metamora Mennonite Church. A Memorial service will be at 11:00am Friday June 29, 2012 at Metamora Mennonite Church with Rev. Mike Danner officiating.
