Mitchell Brown, 65, of East Peoria, Illinois, passed away on August 21, 2025. He was born on November 26, 1959, in Peoria, Illinois.

Mitchell retired as Assistant General Manager from the Tazewell & Peoria Railroad. He enjoyed spending time fishing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and loving on his dogs. Mitchell was a devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan; daughter Allison Harris (Marc); his sons Mason Brown & Austin Brown; and grandson Noah Barnes. Mitchell leaves behind siblings: Mark Brown (Hanke), Matthew Brown, Melissa Nichols (Brian), & Mindy Taylor (Jeff).

At Mitchell's request, cremation will be accorded and there will be no services. Private burial will be at a later date. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington has been entrusted with his arrangements.
